Fline Privacy
Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 22, 2026. Fline is a communication app for messaging, calls, contacts, games, weather, translation, and optional live location sharing.
Data We Use
Fline may process account details, display name, email, username, profile photo, bio/about, contacts you choose to add, encrypted messages, message status, call metadata, notification tokens, files or media you choose to send, weather/location choices, reports, and diagnostics needed to keep the service reliable.
How Data Is Used
Data is used for app functionality, authentication, contact discovery, chat and call delivery, notifications, user safety, abuse prevention, account support, and requested features such as weather, translation, games, and location. Fline does not sell personal data and does not use private messages for advertising.
Permissions
Camera, microphone, notifications, files, and location are requested only when you use a visible feature that needs them. Camera and microphone are used for calling, previews, voice checks, and translation voice input. Location is used for weather, live place features, or sharing only when you allow it.
Security
Fline uses HTTPS, secure headers, access controls, and local encryption for supported private chat cache and payloads. Some browser and network metadata, such as delivery status or connection events, may still be processed so the app can function.
Retention
Fline keeps data only as long as needed for the service, safety, legal, security, or anti-abuse purposes. Users can clear local app data on their device and can request account deletion for server-side account data.
User Control
You can request deletion of your account and related personal data. Some limited records may be retained when required for legal, safety, anti-abuse, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Contact
For privacy questions, reports, or deletion support, use the account deletion or report forms linked in Fline. Developer contact details should also be kept current in Google Play Console.
